Latest Aaron Rodgers report gives Steelers fans unfortunate deja vu

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to operate on Aaron Rodgers’ time. The four-time MVP left the door open for a return to Pittsburgh for a 22nd NFL season, but has yet to make a decision on his future. With the NFL Combine mere days away, and the new league year beginning March 11th, the Steelers are in no-man’s land when it comes to the quarterback position – and Rodgers may not be close to making his choice.

During an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up , NFL insider Jeremy Fowler reports it could be months until we know what Aaron Rodgers decides to do. “The Steelers remain open to a potential Aaron Rodgers reunion, but they’ve got to figure out if he wants to play or not yet,” Fowler reports.

“That could take months.” The Steelers reportedly gave Rodgers a deadline of one month to make his decision, which was reported at the end of January. Should that be the case, and Pittsburgh stays true to its deadline, Rodgers has just over a week to figure out if he wants to play in Pittsburgh in 2026.
