After getting one free-agency deal quietly done very early, the Cincinnati Bengals have started making more re-signings to keep some of the depth chart’s core in place. This week, the Bengals announced new deals with cornerback Jalen Davis and wide receiver Kendric Pryor. Davis, 30, has been with the Bengals since 2020 in a key depth role.
He’s now set for a critical slot depth spot once again while the defense leans on Dax Hill and DJ Turner as starters on the boundary next season. Davis will compete with the likes of Josh Newton, while Pryor battles the likes of Mitchell Tinsley over the summer, never mind any other additions the Bengals make.
